I hope you don’t mind, but I am going to build this car this winter.

Which one? The 33 Ford or the ‘39 Lincoln? It’s ok with me either way. Have fun, that’s what it’s all about right? KK

The 33. I am using a 347 stroker with webers. I am the first builder of the factory Five 33 Ford kit seeing I have already built 8 of their cars, with 4 of those displayed at SEMA. I am trying to find really wide torque thrust wheels for it with little luck. I am sponsored by IForge and Pirelli so I may go that route. I am also going with a lot of MOMO stuff to. I am trying to find out if in NH I can do the super low spec racer type windshield or if it has to be DOT. I am also trying to figure out how wide I should make the stripes. Gary

Well if you need help. I have more design info on this car. The only thing I ask of anyone building one of my designs is that the design credit is given to me in any write-ups, TV shows and on the sign boards on the car when it’s shown. KK

No problem! Being the poster child for Factory Five along withthe promotion they have planned for me being the “first” production 33 ford it will get publicity and I will make sure that you get the credit for it’s design. I’ll do a thing where I mention how I saw the artist’s rendition and fell in love with it so much I was bound to copy it. then I can mention how I surfed and found you and got your permission and support. Did you do any other views of it or is it all in your head? Gary P.S. I plan on using 20 X 11.5 rear wheels and 18 X 8’s in the front with tires that have just over a 4” sidewall.

I have it in my head, but I started a scale model of it and I have that. If you went 18” on all four corners, you could use
Team III E/T Classic 5’s they would look more like the drawing. KK

Problem is finding a wide 18”. Plus with the deal I get on IForge wheels ($4600 wheels for just $1,000) I can’t pass it up. I am looking at the Aero wheels with the centers done in black. www.iforged.com. Plus I think the 18/20 will give it an agressive rake to it. What did you figure for the stripes? Do you have a high res image so I can make a big print and put on the shop wall for motivation?
