About
1958 Chevrolet BelAir
2dr, Sport Coupe
History of this Vehicle
She’s been in our family since 1977.
Dad bought her for a winter “beater” – we need those in North East Ohio!
The big block went in over the winter of '79, and started the whole she-bang.
The whole car was torn apart over the winter of '80, and I got to learn Body, Paint, Interior and mechanical from
"Dear 'Ol Dad".
She was tubbed in '86, and has pretty much been in this configuration since.
Dad handed the keys over to me in '97. Said that, " I figured that you'd end up with her, and I'd rather see you enjoy it BEFORE I'm pushing up daisies." I've built a few carsover the years, but this one means the most to me> Dad's garage was the original "American Chopper". With how my Dad, my brother Chris, and I worked together, I swear that the directors of that show taped us and then brought in the cast!
Plans for this Vehicle
