ARTISTS: Be sure to add the word ‘art’ to the tags for your vehicles and photos.

While I think most of us would agree that just about every car could be considered a rolling work of art, the Hub has seen an incredible amount of automotive related traditional artwork – illustrations, designs, sketches, paintings, sculpture and all kinds of other original creations.

There is an incredible amount of artistic talent pouring into the Hub and we want to make sure it’s all seen, so . . . if you’re an artist or posting artwork to the Hub, please, please, please be sure to add the tag ‘art’ to the object – whether it be a vehicle, photo, blog or video.

This will make it easier for people looking for art to find your work. We’re also working on an automotive art section and want to make sure all artists get included.

Adding tags is easy to do:

For any object you add or edit, there is a line to add tags. Tags are basically keywords that help people find your stuff easier. In the tags field, add the word ‘art’ (do not put it in quotes), but DO separate all your tags/keywords or phrases with a comma. If you need any help, just email mechanic@hubgarage.com and we’ll help you along.

Also artists, right now the way we have things set up, if you want to create a gallery for your artwork, just create a new “vehicle” in your garage. (We’re working on a better way for people to create non-vehicle galleries to show off their other auto related stuff in addition to their vehicles – like art, event photos, shop pics, family, friends, etc.)
