Awful nice! ..but is there actually anything left from ‘48? or all newly fabbed?
Pacific Coast Customs Garage
March 03, 2009 at 01:55 PM
Mostly fabbed. The fenders are fairly stock with highly altered dimensions. The stockest piece left is the dash, but thats out of an early seires ‘54 truck.
Thank you!

The workmanship in this piece of art is what you expect from someone who knows how to use his craft. I just wish I had a fraction of this talent. This is a sweet piece. I am starting on a 53 Chevy pickup and only wish to have it look as good as the underside of this truck. Thanks for sharing. I also love the colors, again sweet…....

This is truly a beautiful vehicle!!!! Great work all around. I believe it is fair to assume you took it to Detroit and Pomona How did it do? Ridler or AMBR?
Pacific Coast Customs Garage
May 21, 2009 at 06:53 PM
Never been to detroit with it. AMBR was out of the question as the vehicle must be pre ‘36. We did well competing in custom classes at the GNRS and Sacramento Autorama and were invited to many other shows as well.

This has been my favoriate truck since the frist time i layed eyes on it. very inovative, building a 48 fleetline custom myself so i can appreciate the metal work nice stuff! What color of creme is that and is it a factory color or aftermarket?
Pacific Coast Customs Garage
October 12, 2009 at 09:23 PM
Thank you for the compliments! The creme is Dupont Hot Hues Alabaster. Its a stock Hot Hues color. A creme that is close to it is that used on Chrysler 300’s. You can see that color on my woody roadster’s firewall.
